The PICARD carpenters' roofing hammer 298 with traditional brown handle is an indispensable tool for every carpenter. It impresses with a carefully shaped forged hammer head made of the legendary PICARD special steel. The tubular steel handle made of chrome-molybdenum is very resistant to misses and sits immovably in the hammer head. The magnetic nail holder allows nails to be set with one hand. The finely ground hammer head is protected against corrosion by the transparent powder coating.

The SIMPLEX soft-face mallet with the insert combination rubber composition / superplastic D60mm is an indispensable companion for a wide range of applications such as gardening and landscaping (paving, setting kerbstones), civil engineering (scaffolding, formwork work), prefabricated house construction and for carpentry work (setting beams). The medium-hard rubber insert is very low-wear, damping and odourless and lasts many times longer than a conventional rubber mallet. The medium-hard superplastic insert made of special plastic enables a higher impact force and is very durable and wear-resistant.

The cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve that ensures high break resistance.

The high-quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double lacquered in the grip area and thus insensitive to dirt.
