The Halder fixture butler is integrated into the Cadenas PartCommunity and is also available as an add-on to Partsolution. Based on the specifications by the fixture engineer, the system creates complete assembly groups consisting of Halder standard parts and system components of the Halder fixture systems. The generated assembly group can be input directly into the CAD system. For the fixture engineer, the Halder fixture butler means significant time savings due to the simplified use of Halder standard parts.
The engineer specifies once whether the fixture shall be based on a Halder T-slot system (V40/V70) or a Halder hole and dowel system (L12/L16).
Subsequently, the engineer defines the function for each clamping point (supporting, clamping, positioning) and inputs the required functional measurements such as distance from the base plate to the clamping point.
The butler determines the required parts list of Halder components based on the data. The assembly group is then displayed virtually as a 3D model for the plausibility check.
If the engineer approves of the suggestion of the butler, he can transfer the data to his CAD system via the kown CADENAS download function.
Finally, the engineer has to position the assembly group in his fixture.
This process can be repeated for each clamping point.
